ABS wheel speed sensor sourcing for vehicle programs
Axlebridge Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. We help importers, distributors and fleet buyers collect factory quotes for vehicle ABS wheel speed sensors and accompanying connectors, wire harnesses and tone rings. We do not manufacture parts or claim authorization from vehicle makers.
Request factory quotes Explore sourcing optionsKnown requirements
Record the OE reference for identification only, model year, mounting position and order quantity with packing unit. Note whether the request is a front or rear abs wheel speed sensor, left/right orientation, connector pin count and harness length if the cable is included.
To be confirmed
Suppliers still need to confirm sensing method, tone ring or encoder pairing, new versus remanufactured condition, document set, Incoterms and destination ZIP code. Appearance or a similar plug is not vehicle fitment proof.
Fitment information to supply
Vehicle and engine
Capture model year, make, model and engine code or chassis identifier. Trailer inquiries should add axle manufacturer notes when available. Unresolved vehicle fitment stays on the RFQ instead of being filled with a generic catalog line.
Position and interface
State front/rear, left/right, mounting position, connector pin count and whether an abs sensor cable or bracket is required. If a tone ring is involved, record tooth count or encoder type separately from the sensor body.
Quantity and packing
Give pieces, axle sets or pairs and list included hardware. A sensor quoted without the harness cannot be compared with a complete abs wheel speed sensor wire harness assembly on the same unit price.
Destination and timing
Provide the US destination ZIP code and requested delivery window. Sample approval, if needed, is a separate milestone from production-lot shipment and should not be mixed into one undated promise.
How a sourcing request moves forward
- Clarify
- Resolve part reference, axle position, sensing method and order unit. Missing connector pin count or harness length is recorded as an open question instead of assumed from a photo.
- Request
- Ask factories for quotes that name the same packing unit, document pack and destination so abs sensor price lines can be compared without mixing ex-works and delivered figures.
- Review
- Compare sample terms, supplier declaration, warranty scope and total cost. Certificates belong to a named supplier and part, not to this website.
- Confirm
- Record the accepted specification, remaining exceptions and each party’s delivery responsibility before any purchase order is issued by the buyer.
Read the sourcing process for landed-cost split rules, then send the open questions.
Evidence to request, not claims to assume
Part identity
Ask for model-specific drawings, catalog references, connector pin maps and tone ring dimensions. An automotive abs wheel speed sensor listing is only an inquiry option until the supplier maps it to the stated application.
Supply condition
Clarify new versus remanufactured status, core charge if a remanufactured unit is offered, and whether the abs sensor bracket or cable is included. Do not treat a similar housing as proof of the same sensing method.
Order evidence
Ask for sample scope, batch traceability identifiers and packing unit photos. Sample approval does not automatically qualify later lots; keep version marks.
Quote boundaries
Confirm validity, freight, taxes, service scope, Incoterms and exclusions. Gross package weight may be requested for freight checks; unknown figures stay blank.
- Next step
- Share axle position, connector details, quantity and destination so factory quotes can be requested on one specification.
