Requirement review / supplier coordination

Abs sensor price compared on one quote scope

Define the requested service scope before asking suppliers for terms. Axlebridge Sourcing splits abs sensor price into unit, packing, freight, taxes and coordination charges so two offers share the same boundary.

Define the coordination scope

Requirements review

The buyer supplies vehicle year/make/model, engine or chassis identifiers, axle position, sensing method, connector pin count, harness length, tone ring specification, quantity and destination ZIP code. Drawings can be described now and sent after first contact. We do not operate a fitment database that certifies interchange.

Supplier questions

Ask about production scope, sample options, supplier declaration and documents bound to the named part. Thread pitch, bore diameter and bolt pattern apply only when a bracket or tone ring mounting is part of the offer. Electrical interface is recorded as voltage and connector pin count, not as a fault-code diagnosis.

Quote comparison

Separate unit cost, packing unit, freight, taxes, service costs and Incoterms before ranking abs sensor price. A sensor-only line cannot be compared with a kit that adds cable, connector and bracket. Currency and per-piece versus total-order budget, if provided, stay as buyer guidance.

Order handoff

Record approved sample identifiers, unresolved exceptions, warranty scope and who owns shipment. Sample approval is not batch consistency. Later lots still need agreed inspection points. Axlebridge Sourcing coordinates questions; the buyer issues the purchase decision.
